Basie and Frank at Count Basie Theatre

This is a fictional painting. Frank and Basie although having played and recorded together many times, never appeared at the Count Basie Theatre because it did not exist. Basie was a Red Bank native and the theatre was named after him after he passed away.

Tumultuous 2012

This painting is a continuation of 21st century history of the United States series that I'm portraying. The painting is a montage of events that occurred in the same time period between October 30th and the presidential election. Mostly it shows the devastation of the storm effecting millions of people in the northeast and at the same time of the election. It shows the major political participants in the dealing with the storm and the election as well as the damage.

This is an annual event that takes place in Asbury Park, NJ prior to Halloween. It's well participated by the public and the costumes are creative and colorful. Happy Halloween!!!

Vancouver Heat

This awesome scene took place during the Vancouver versus Boston Hockey Game riots The photographer was at the right place at the right time. I really don't know if this was staged or not. Nevertheless, it was a great photo. By doing a painting of this scene I'm paying homage to the photographer and I'm a firm beleiver in making LOVE NOT WAR.

Picasso's Woman Ironing

This painting is not for sale. I did this painting as a commission. The client loved Picasso's original but couldn't afford it. Therefore, I did my version at a very reasonable price. The client was ecstatic.

The Beast in the Ring

I always admired Mike Tyson for his fierceness in the ring. Unfortunately, he was ill advised by his managers and promoters after becoming world heavyweight champion. Otherwise he truly could have become the greatest.

Tribute To Arturo Thunder Gatti

This painting is in tribute to Arturo Thunder Gatti who was recently murdered. He was by far the most exciting fighter of this generation. He was called the "Human Highlight Film". I was a great fan of his and couldn't wait to see his fights. This portait was done early in his career. He used to bleed profusely. But it didn't stop him to provide his fans with some of the most memorable fights EVER. He was truly a gladiator that possessed unmatched courage, heart and guts. Rest in peace Arturo.
